The present paper discusses the user perception and prefereces towards print and e-Resources. The main objetive of this study is to examine the purpose of the use of print or e-resources among students. To study the preferences and opinions on print and e-resources the investigator selected the UG and PG students of VTU affileated to Mysore region engineering colleges. The study reveals that the transition from print to electronic is the main factor during the past decade.
