Use of electronic journal databases in ayurveda: A study of AYUSH University, Haryana

Abstract

The Present study explores usability and awareness of electronic journal databases among faculty members and doctors at AYUSH University, Haryana. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 40 teachers and doctors. PubMed, Digital Helpline for Ayurveda Research Articles (DHARA), and Annotated Bibliography of Indian Medicine (ABIM) is the most used e-recourses by the respondents. Study shows that the frequency of use of electronic journal databases by respondents is very high, they have also submitted their dissatisfaction for non-availability of desired electronic journal databases.
