Abstract

Writing and printing have come a long way throughout our history and thus emerged the manuscript culture. Preserving archives is the need for us to stay close to the creators of our accessions. It keeps the throb of the past and preserves the literary, linguistic, artistic, and cultural heritage. The present study aims to provide a summary of research publication lined with manuscript libraries and characterize its most important aspects. The study result shows the United States of America exceeds in the area of research in manuscript libraries. Several outcomes regarding the annual trends, top collaborators in terms of journal and institute levels, language, country, and the keyword distribution indicating the impact of the advancement by utilizing the new trends and recent technologies to meet the expanded landscapes of digital humanities and scholarly communications. The challenge is how to best approach the publications coupled to manuscript libraries around the world.
