Cloud computing is completely a new model in information and communication technology and it is regarded as the third revolution following the Personal computer and the Internet. This paper provides a brief overview of cloud computing, including its definition, characteristics, and models. The paper also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing technology, as well as the use of cloud computing to improve library services.
