Indian contribution to Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ): An overview

This paper gives an overview of open access publications in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The publication covers the indexed journal from India in DOAJ. Data was collected from the DOAJ website in August 2021. The result explained that 319 journals are published in India in 7 different languages. This study presents the year-wise journal publication from India with a start from 2003. Creative Commons license or similar license being used to publish the journal, almost 98% of journals use any of Creative Commons license.
