Savings Habits of Rural People: In Katni district (Madhya Pardesh) Specially in Umaria Pan Village

Abstract

Attitude towards money depends from person to person. Each person behaves differently towards savings according to his income level. Some people believe that we need to spend money on present requirements, they don't bother about the future. But on the other hand, some people believe that there should be some savings for the future. They think that some money should be held for future requirements because the future is uncertain. The present study analyzes the saving behavior of Village People. The analysis discloses that maximum villagers are agriculturists because they do agriculture activities and that impacts the hold they are earning for future savings.

The purpose reserve money may be used for their household requirements, live hood, or for farming purposes and future necessities which automatically helps in national savings. This national savings use the way as economic development as well as investment in the infrastructural of the country.
