Stress is a depressing condition which lowers the concentration, mindset and working conditions of student. And creates dissatisfaction in any work. This study observes the effect of stress on students and stress management among students. The main objective of the study is to know the extent to which stress affects the student's life along with the effects of existing stress on students' academic success, health and general lifestyle. Quantitative method has been used for data collection and analysis. For this study, information was obtained from postgraduate level students by administering a questionnaire. The outcome found shows that about 40% of the students sense stress in getting help from their faculty, distress of examination, deficiency of understanding of the subject and absence of academic performance. The results of the study exposed that stress together male and female students are affected likewise in their presentation. However stress can be managed using various methods and stress management courses can besides be introduced as part of extra-curricular activities of the students.
