Abstract

The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its industrial counterpart, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), has ushered in a new era of connectivity and automation across various sectors. This scholarly article examines the profound effects of IoT and IIoT on library services. As libraries evolve to embrace technological advancements, the integration of IoT and IIoT presents both challenges and opportunities for enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and user experience within library environments.
