Abstract

The paper discusses the concept of a Human Library. This type of library first appeared in Denmark in the early 21st century with the efforts of an NGO called "Stop the Violence." The paper explains why the Human Library was created, its objectives, and its main components and subcomponents of the library. Additionally, it depicts the places at national and international levels where Human Libraries have been established and highlights the importance of considering the establishment of Human Libraries. Overall, this study encourages librarians to think about the need for Human Libraries, either partially or fully.
