The present study contains a bibliometric analysis of articles published in the “Indian Journal of Physics and Applications (IJPA)” from 2018-2023. The study covers 86 articles from six volumes (7-12) published from 2018 to 2023. The study analyses the year-wise distribution of articles, geographical distribution of articles, authorship pattern, gender analyses, number of references cited, length of articles, most productive authors, etc. The study explored that 247 authors have published 86 articles during the study period, and on average, 7.16 articles have been published per issue. The study also finds that 54 articles (62.80%) have been authored either by two authors or by more than two authors. Out of 1,318 references cited in all the 86 articles published during the study period, 550 references have been given between the ranges of 11-20 references, while 291 references have been given between the ranges of 21-30 references. The study also found that Sergey Vladimirovich Fedoseev of Russia and Guillermo D. Guidi of Argentina are the most prolific IJPA authors. The study concludes that all the major research areas of physics and its applications have been covered in the source journal “IJPA” by authors from twenty different countries, which shows the reputation and global visibility of the journal.
