Abstract

This study provides an in-depth analysis of the NIMHANS Library website in Bangalore, focusing on its usability, accessibility, and the range of services offered. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the website’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of its diverse user base, including students, researchers, and faculty members. Key features such as the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), literature search services, and off-campus access to subscribed resources are examined. The findings highlight the strengths and areas for improvement, offering recommendations to enhance user experience and optimize the library’s digital presence with a focus on the Information Architecture of the Library website. This study aims to contribute to the broader discourse on digital library services and their role in supporting academic and clinical research.
