Academic Libraries are an important part of knowledge generation and its dissemination, and colleges where students depend highly on curated learning resources. This study explores how effectively library collections and services are available and in use in four major colleges; Arya Kanya College, Bipin Bihari College, Bundelkhand Degree College, Veerangana Maharani Laxmi Bai Government Girls Degree College of Jhansi, affiliated to Bundelkhand University. The study checks out print and digital resources, services, IT infrastructure, collection newness and prevailing challenges. Old infrastructure, less budget and technological limitations limit the favourable changes of these libraries. Findings from the study found that print materials support curriculum needs, but technological resources and services are largely unavailable. It makes us think that the government is bringing several policies regarding education and library building, and making them strong and sufficient. For example, NEP 2020 gives special mention for libraries and higher education, but seeing the present circumstances of collection and services in these college libraries, there seems to be a lack of properimplementation and seriousness for the development of these libraries. The study calls out some recommendations to strengthen the collection and enhance services in these college libraries.
