Impact of Covid-19 on Teaching and Learning: A Bibliometric Study

The present article deals with the impact of Covid-19 on teaching and learning globally which forced closure of academic institutions globally. The scope of the study is limited to the articles indexed in Scopus database on the core subject i.e. the impact of Covid-19 on teaching and learning. Various types of information have been retrieved such as documents by year, documents per year by source, documents by individual authors, documents per year by affiliation, documents by types, subject areas, document by funding sponsors, documents by country or territory, etc. from the Scopus database. To analyse the results, different bibliometric techniques have been used.

The findings suggest that, despite numerous studies, there is an imperative need for further investigation into suitable pedagogical approaches and platforms in developing countries. Various challenges have made online education less accessible and affordable in these regions which require strategic policy interventions to address these issues.
