Abstract

The development of knowledge management in recent years has become the key concern for librarians and libraries. There has been a surge of interest in Knowledge Management (KM) worldwide. More and more organizations now recognize that Knowledge Management is critical to the survival and growth of their business and Library and Information Centres (LICs) are not an exception to this. The paper highlights the importance of knowledge management in the 21st century and emphasizes the need for Knowledge Management (K M), Knowledge Management implementation and other concepts.
