Abstract

The importance of a user or a customer has been increasing as the world is becoming more competitive. Libraries too have to constantly search for users who keep their holdings on the move. We have been constantly shifting and advancing ourselves from a superior technology to a more superior one. In the times when most of the people use web 2.0 technologies, it has become inevitable for libraries to explore different web 2.0 venues and examine the opportunities that these technologies provide to the libraries for serving its users. This paper places the library users in the centre and attempts to explore the possibilities of serving them in the web 2.0 environments.
