Usage of Consortium for E-Resources in Agriculture (CeRA) by the Faculty of Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana: A Case Study

This study assesses attitudes towards e-journals available through Cera-Consortium and examines the current level of use of these electronic publications by faculty members of the Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana. A survey was conducted, using questionnaire to collect data. The paper attempts to define this consortium, its objectives and scope also. This article explores that usage of e-journals has increased as compared to the printed journals as majority of users have started accepting the journals in electronic form. Faculty is accessing these e-journals at their concerned departments more as compared to the library. Their responses and remarks have been presented here.
