Abstract

The present study investigates information seeking behavior and satisfaction level of the faculty members and students at the VSS Medical Collge, Burala, Odisha. For the purpose of the present study a structured questionnaire covering most relevant aspect of the study were distributed among 187 faculty members and 143 students, out of which 113 questionnaires from faculty members and 108 questionnaires from students were returned. The collected data were tabulated in MS-Excel in a logical order and statistical techniques such as mean deviation and standard deviation applied where ever necessary. The study also examines frequency of library visit, purpose of information seeking, preferred resources, most preferred search engine, satisfaction level among the respondents etc.
