Abstract

The study is based on the Bibliometric analysis of 412 research articles published in 10 volumes of 40 issues appeared in the SRELS Journal of Information Management (SRELS-JIM) during periods of 2000 to 2009. This paper will review on authorship pattern; degree of collaboration, author productivity and further it reveals that out of total 686 contributors, 360 (52.48%) contributors contributed a joint authored paper that amounts to 180 (43.69%) articles. Overall average number of authors per article is 1.66 and average productivity per author is 0.60; majorities 544(79.30%) of articles are published by Indian contributors followed by USA and alternative contributors. The findings must reveal various aspects of the characteristics and patterns of contributions of this journal.
