It is important to think of library standards when managing libraries or planning for additions or new buildings. Building size and spaces will vary based on user's size, users demand, and budget. It is important to have policies or standards that include usage, maintenance, and improvement of the facilities like working hours of the library, Information services like Internet, reference service, Photocopying, CAS, SDI, Online reservation OPAC, User Education and One of the most litigated library standard issues concerns use of meeting the library building and space.
