Application of Modern Technical Tools in Management Institute Libraries in Kerala

The paper is based on a study conducted in the libraries of management institutes in Kerala. The main objective of the study is to understand the available modern Technical Tools which is having scope of application in Management Institute Libraries. The Study also targets to assess the shortfalls of the existing Library Information System and Services utilized by the Management Institute Libraries. The study covering all the Management Institutes of Kerala and data was collected mainly through the websites of the Institutes or the concerned Library. The study revealed that the leading Technical Tools were not yet applied in Management Institute Libraries of Kerala. The paper put forward the vital suggestions that it is very crucial to adapt the technical tools in Management Institute Libraries since it is a grooming place for future Management Professionals. Also it made a suggestion that the adaptation of these tools will help to save money and manpower.
