International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology

Study describes the periodical literature published on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and library and information science education and libraries topic in different library and information science journals/magazines. The results of this study revealed that massive numbers of articles were published by Public Services Quarterly, 2013 was noted as the most productive year and a large number of articles on MOOCs were published in foreign LIS journals by single authors. This study is certainly helpful for those users who are looking for periodical literature published in different LIS journals/magazines on MOOCs and LIS education/libraries and getting periodical literature on MOOCs and library and information science education and libraries at a glance.
