The present study intends to assess the utilization of the UGC-InfoNet e-Journal consortium at the University Libraries in Kerala which aimed to analyse the existing scenario and to infer future directions based on the current status. The study applied a standard survey method to analyse the utilization of UGC-InfoNet consortium available at various university libraries in Kerala. The study examine frequency of use of InfoNet service, sources through which InfoNet services is known, use of different publishers, method of accessing full text e-journals, need for more electronic journals, need for other services, methods adopted to use UGC-InfoNet, evaluation of UGC-InfoNet service and various problems faced while accessing information from InfoNet. Study highlights strength and weakness of the services provided through the UGC-InfoNet centre and suggests the need for a scientific and systematic training programmes to the user community so that only they can effectively satisfy their information requirement of this digital age.
