In 2012, the Gujarat National Law University Library introduced RFID/EM technology at its library. The literature review was done, visited nearby existing sites and decision was taken to implement hybrid system called RFID/EM to redesign faster circulation work, circulation time would be reduced, self check out, check in would be implemented, searching the materials, security of the materials, and facilitate in stock verification work. The article provides overview of the implementation of RFID/EM hybrid system and review the result of this project of two years.
