Technical advancement has its own impact on education. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a very important role in the development of the society. Internet provides a secure and survival communications network for organizations engaged in defense related research. Researchers and Academics in other fields began to make use of the network. And at length the National Science Foundation (NSF) which had created a similar and parallel network called NSFNet, took over much of the TCP/IP Technology from ARPANET and established a distributed network of networks called of handling for greater traffic. NSF continues to maintain the back bone of the network which carries data at a rate of 45 million bites per second. The academic community uses Internet to satisfy its diverse needs; be it Information, Education, Communication, and Research. The students, who were born during full bloom of internet revolution, extensively use internet to satisfy their various needs. The study trace out the use of internet by Pharmacy Students and identify the problems faced while search is in process. The findings reveal that majority of students use internet at other than college places followed by browsing centre, college library and public library. The findings also indicate that students faced lot of problems during their information search process like lack of internet illiteracy, and financial barriers.
