The study attempts to evaluate the scientific productivity of IIT Guwahati during the period 2006–2015 as indexed by the Scopus database. The published output showed that the research output of IIT Guwahati undeviatingly increased over the past ten years. The findings indicate that the scientists of IIT Guwahati prefer to collaborate with Global countries and institutions to publish their papers. Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Material Science and Mathematics are the main areas of research of scientists of IIT Guwahati. 27.41% papers of IIT Guwahati remains uncited during the period of study.
