Scopus cite score metrics of lis journals of asian countries during 2011–2015: A statistical approach

Abstract

The study is based on Scopus cite score metrics which provides inclusive, obvious and contemporary insights into journal impact. This paper focuses on inferential statistical analysis of cite score, Citations and SJR of Library and Information Science journals of Asiatic region. The study is based on Scopus cite score metrics databases for the period of 2011–2015. The correlation between these factors is also analyzed in the present study. The statistical tests applied in the study are one way ANOVA with Duncan Multiple Range Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test and Pearson Coefficient of Correlation.
