This present paper aims to provide the status of contributions made by the universities of India to the open access repository ShodhGangotri. There are 59 universities in India contributed 5153 synopses to ShodhGangotri as on August 13, 2018. ShodhGangotri plays an important role to avoid duplication of research work as it provides information about proposed research work submitted in various universities and educational institutions.
