Mathematical modeling is a general way to solve most real world problem. Here, in this paper Ordinary differential equation is used to modeled the problem. Water is the most essential to sustain life and is required in almost all the activities of mankind i.e., domestic and industrial use, irrigation to meet the growing food and fibre needs, power generation, navigation, recreation etc. The development, conservation and use of water, therefore, form one of the main elements in country's development planning. The only source of water is rainfall. But rainfall is not evenly distributed throughout the year and also in each part of land. In the near future, water will be a scarce and therefore, needs to be harnessed in the most scientific and efficient manner. Water balance studies are very important for assessment of water potential of any area. The need of water balance is to use the water in most efficient way. The watershed is been composed of irrigation field, bare land, cropped field, ponded land, forest, etc. Here, an attempt is done to model a simple water balance of small catchment area to calculate runoff and estimate the storage of bare field.
