Abstract

Cloud computing as a concept is the result of the natural evolution of our everyday approach use technology delivered via the Internet. Many cloud computing providers have popped up and there is a considerable growth in the usage of this service. Cloud computing is a term, which involves virtualization, distributed computing, networking, and software and web services. A cloud consists of several elements such as clients, datacenter and distributed servers. It includes fault tolerance, high availability, scalability, flexibility, reduced overhead for users, reduced cost of ownership, on demand services etc. Central to these issues lie on the establishment of an effective load balancing algorithm. Load balancing is a computer networking method for distributing workloads across multiple computers or a computer cluster, network links, central processing units, disk drives, or other resources. The main focus of research is to thoroughly analyze the virtualization technology in Cloud Computing Environment.
