The studyattempts to find out the Use of Internet by the students of the Higher Education. For this purpose Public and Private Universities were selected in Delhi NCR. The teaching learning process has been, adopting, adapting evolving as the advancements are being made in ICT. The study aimed at establishing the role of Internet in curriculum based learning. It explores how government of India has initiated the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) to leverage the potential of ICT, in teaching and learning process. This research also explores the platform initiated by Ministry of HRD -SWAYAM. Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds which involves development of Massive Open online Courses (MOOCs) compliant e-content and a robust interactive IT platform.
