Quadratic Rank Transmuted Half Logistic Lomax Distribution: Properties and Application

We introduce new continuous non normal distribution called the Quadratic Rank Transmuted Half Logistic Lomax Distribution (QRTHLLD). We derive some Mathematical properties including explicit expressions such as the Survival and Hazard Rate Function, Quantile, Median, Moments, Generating functions. The estimation of parameters performance by Maximum Likelihood and the formulae for the elements of the Fisher information matrix is provided. A simulation study is run to assess the performance of Maximum Likelihood Estimators (MLEs). The flexibility and potentiality of the proposed model is illustrated by means of generalised and real data sets.
