Economic development signs to growth of new organisations further which brings competition in the industrial environment. Since, every company that starts business operations dream to be forward without creating gaffes. Currently, organisations tend to be rely upon its flair in managing knowledge to achieve the foremost objectives. Organisations themselves creating importance of knowledge management in the mind of personnel's to organize, acquire, create, share and re-use knowledge through its practices to get the purpose achieved. The Knowledge Management system oftenacknowledged to bring real time benefits for the organisations but returns at the same are not fixed. Consequently, in order to flourish, the knowledge management edges organisations need to build ingenioustacticswhich bring in action to the needs of employees, clients and organisations. The current study emphasis on key knowledge management practices (organizing, acquisition, creation, sharing and re-use) to deliberates an edifice which can further comfortto plan and install a successful knowledge management system. It is also engrossed to dig out the association of knowledge management with respect to its practices in Indian service sector achieved through a structured questionnaire filled from employees working in different organisations.
