Abstract

The overall purpose of the study was to assess the practice of human resource planning in the case of commercial bank of Ethiopia. The study were used simple random sampling technique to select a sample from the population of human resource department and convenient sampling technique to select a sample from the population of the above mentioned three department. The study were used both primary and secondary sources of data. The primary data was gathered from employees and managers of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, at head office through questionnaire and interview. The secondary data was collected by reviewing documents of the organization, books and internet that are relevant for the study. The data collected through questionnaires and interview is analyzed by using Descriptive analysis technique.
