Abstract

The compulsory disaster management education at different levels of education by Indian government is a step towards enhancing disaster management awareness for the benefit of the country. This present study focused on compulsory Integrated Disaster Management Program conducted for post graduate students and studied the impact of the 18-hour program on the students using path analysis model. The model built with hypothesized casual ordering for how Relevance of disaster management is to workplace, Relevance of disaster management to Home and Relevance of disaster management to Personality cause Overall disaster management subject relevance.
