Abstract

Business models usually describe only one aspect of the business, most often called as revenue model. It concentrates as a whole instead of most visible aspects. Various business models like Bricks and clicks business model, Collective business models, Direct sales model, and Distribution business models are discussed in this paper. Happiness in the workplace refers to how satisfied people are with their lives and work in organizations. The concept and idea of happiness is related to individual's subjective well being. Happiness at the workplace is important and much crucial for improving productivity in organizations. Happy people are productive people while those people who are unhappy may not pay full attention in their allocated work to complete the task. Scholars and researchers believe that business organizations which are able to maintain consistent long term happiness at the workplace could probably enhance and sustain the productivity. So, they must know what factors and variables could affect the worker happiness in order to effectively increase happiness at the workplace. This paper focuses and presents a conceptual framework of happiness at the organization that could give valuable contribution to future research. In this review paper various aspects of business models, holistic HRM model and importance of HRM practices, and salient features of happy business model are discussed.
