Abstract

There is an old saying that “Small is beautiful” but it is not applicable in the IT industry. In the Present business world where knowledge and a skillis given a top priority, it become essential thata trained and skilled human resources has gained importance for success of business. An especially IT companywhose main business runs with employees intellectual property i.e their talent and skill, HR polices plays an important role. ‘Skilled workers’ has become a popular word in today's IT world. Especially in It sector there is a great demand for Skilled and Talented workers. To make place in the world IT market, India also must develop talented and skilled workers. This workforce will act as a pillar of it company. They act as a destiny makers of the Company. Despite having abundant English-speaking skilled workforce, an acute shortage of skilled workforce will affect the country's software exports in the long run, if remedial actions are not taken immediately. Hence, the IT industry has brought renowned changes in recruitment Process and its strategies to meet present market demand of IT industry and withstand in the present competitive world. Employees need to be highly qualified and must be trained skillfully to achieve organization goals. The main reason for this is high standards of education and professional training required for this industry. Secondly, Top IT companies likely to recruit skilled employees with good packages. So, HR managers job had become more challenging in Indiabecause to find both qualifies and skilled employees.
