Present age is called as the Cyber Age where the information Generation, acquisition and dissemination are as quick as the speed of light and is accessible to all without any geographical, cultural, economical and social boundaries. This paper deals with how the vast knowledge explosion has made the world shrink into a global village due to the advancement in science and technology which enhances social change of which ICT plays a vital role in the field of education which is a major instrument of social change.
