Abstract

An entomopathogenic fungus, Acremonium sp was observed on banana aphids. The fungus reduced reproduction, development and population of banana aphid, Pentalonia nigronervosa Coq., a vector of bunchy top virus diseases of banana. In Acremonium infected aphid colonies, alate form aphids were predominant.
