There are so many vehicles in the world and the number of vehicles is increasing rapidly. To ease parking problems caused by that, the Intelligent parking system has been developed. The parking planning is one of the most important parts of it. An effective parking planning strategy makes the better use of parking resources possible. This problem is not an individual problem but also a global challenge which includes air pollution, blockage of road, waste of natural resources such as fuel and mainly the time. It is most difficult to find the space to park their respective vehicle in crowded areas. The most significant of this paper is to review the key finding of the comparison of intelligent car parking methods of similar systems used in Smart City.
