Do college admission tests accurately predict a student's graduating grade point average? To answer this question the data for graduates of a university located in western Tennessee in the academic years 1994–1995 and 1995–1996 was analyzed. Using simple linear regression and stepwise multiple linear regression it was found that the composite score American College Test is the best predictor of graduating grade point average.
