This study is exploratory in nature so hypothesis will be formulated to establish the relationship between various policies and plans implemented by government and tribal community's welfare. For the accomplishment of objectives a secondary data will be collected from the year 2001 to 2011 from government website. The results reveals that there is no significant effect of government policies and program on the welfare of the tribal community therefore significant steps must be taken to boost the welfare of the community.
