Viticulture has been playing key role in modeling the income status of the cultivators in Indian in general and study area in particular. The banks have been financing the viticulture as the growers are in short of their own fund to meet the investment requirements of cultivation. However, they are facing some problems in financing the viticulture. The present study is a modest attempt to highlight the problems of banks in financing the viticulture. The present study is based on the primary date collected from the officials of Commercial, Cooperative and Regional Rural Banks of Bijapur district. The study suggested enhancing the scale of finance and development of cooperative attitude between the farming community and the bank officials.
