Abstract

Customer experience is the sum of all experiences a customer has with a supplier of goods or services, over the duration of their relationship with that supplier. The service industry shows an incredible growth in the recent years. The most important services in the Indian economy have been health and education. They are one of the largest and most challenging sectors and hold a key to the country's overall progress. Hospitals today play a pivotal role in health of the community as a whole. The study was aimed to find out the experiences of the patients towards the hospitals at erode district. The sample size being 200 the samples were drawn from different hospitals located in the district. Tools like chi-square and ANOVA were used to find out the relationships between variables. The findings showed a favored view of the patients and suggestions were given to provide effective advertisements to communicate information as well as awareness among the public in general.
