Abstract

Intraocular metastasis is a significant clinical problem in patients with metastatic cancer; Choroid (CM) is the most common site. Its frequency in autopsy studies is approximately 12%. Diagnosis is made on ophthalmologic examination. Radiotherapy remains the cornerstone of therapy. The recognition and treatment of choroidal metastasis represents an important clinical and oncologic issue. With proper management, patients with choroidal metastasis can maintain vision and achieve good palliation.
