Abstract

Strontium Samarium Niobate Sr (Sm0.5 Nb0.5) O3 ceramic is prepared by high temperature solid state reaction technique and it is characterized using XRD and SEM. The dielectric properties of the synthesized sample are studied over a frequency range of 100 Hz to 5 MHz and over a temperature range of 300K to 700K. The material is found to have a moderate dielectric constant, low dielectric loss and low values of ac and dc conductivities.
