Abstract

The uniform response of a photodetector varies with the wavelength. Four detectors have been investigated and studied in this paper, depending on the NIST uncertainties in calibration of optical detector. Calculation of uniformity value achieved for each detector at different wavelength. Spatial uniformity values are changed with respect to wavelength. Also, the obtained data clarify that the wavelengths which are suitable to calculate the spatial uniformity of one detector is not suitable to another one have different spectral responsivity range. It is noticed that, for detector spatial uniformity determination choose suitable wavelength is completely dependent on the responsivity curve and the range of the detector applications.
