Abstract

Sugar industry plays a leading role in Indian economy and especially it is connected with agriculture sector. India and Thailandisa major producer of sugarinAsianregion. Sugar is the most essential and necessary food product and India is leading producer of sugar so correct management of cost of production is must. This paper concentrate on how to reduce cost per unit (Ton) of sugar manufacturing in co-operative sugar factories of Bidar district in Karnataka state. Using the best practices of Cost Management Techniques to reduce cost per ton of sugar manufactured.
