Conceptualizing Two Year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) Programme

Since beginning B. Ed. programme is of one year in every university except in the regional centers of NCERT. The objectives of two years B. Ed. programme has been design for the people who desire to be a teacher on the other hand being it is the one year training programme, therefore many people opt B. Ed. course as an additional course keeping and mind that is they do not get employment anywhere then they will try for teaching profession. In this way teaching profession is not become the choice based. It becomes the need based. This paper will deal that how two years B. Ed. programme achieve its objectives. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it helps in preparing competent teachers. Now only those learners will take admission in B. Ed. programme who desire to become a teacher.
