The main purpose of the study was to compare role conflict, life satisfaction and professional commitment with respect to locus of control of college teachers. Normative Survey Method was adopted for the investigation. After selecting the sample of 300 college teachers, only 133 college teachers (56 internally controlled and 77 externally controlled) were considered for data analysis. Life Satisfaction Scale standardized by Alam and Srivastava, Professional Commitment Scale by Sood, Teacher's Role Conflict Scale and Teacher's Locus of Control Scale by Gupta and Nain. The obtained data was analyzed by using means, S.D's and-test. The results showed that a) Significant differences were found in the role conflict and its areas of college teachers with respect to their locus of control; b) The internally controlled and externally controlled college teachers differ significantly with respect to life satisfaction and its areas; c) The internally controlled college teachers scored significantly higher on professional commitment and its areas than externally controlled college teachers. The educational implications were suggested for the management of teacher training institutions and others for enhancing the life satisfaction and professional commitment and resolving role conflict among college teachers.
