Abstract

This paper discusses the term of Gurdwara, formation of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), various stages of Gurdwara Reform Movement and SGPC's legal recognition by the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925. It incorporates the data personally collected from the SGPC office, various Gurdwaras, education institutions and other institutions.
